RE: NATIONAL SHUT DOWN 20 MARCH 2023

Dear Homeowners

We have received communication from security companies where plans have been implemented at schemes to
ensure the safety of all residents, staff, and communities alike. The private sector is implementing safety measures
to ensure the safety of the public.

We ask that all residents consider that on-site staff may not be able to safely commute to site and that security
guards may not be able to rotate as usual, due to restricted transport from and to their place of employment.
Intelligence suggests that the Taxi associations and major transport companies, may join the protests, and that all
employers should expect large-scale staff absenteeism within their organizations,

5. Due to political interference, the abilities of SAPS are expected to be inadequate to deal with the threats
effectively.
a. Private Security Companies may struggle to deploy staff to assist SAPS with maintaining control.
6. Broad spread intimidation, looting and violence.
