When you think of sports in the Philippines, you probably think of volleyballl or basketball.

But
sports in the Philippines is much more than just those two. The Philippines is also home to
many other exciting sports, such as martial arts, rugby, and even kite surfing. Although most of
these sports are not as popular in the Philippines as they are in other countries, they are still
exciting to watch and participate in.

Many people in the Philippines love to watch sports on television or in person. Some of the most
popular sports in the country are football and boxing, but there are also other sports that are
enjoyed by many people, such as volleyball and basketball. The Philippines is one of the
strongest nations in international sports, and many people around the world watch their athletes
compete in the Olympics, the World Cup, and other major events. Some of the best-known
sports stars in the country are Manny Pacquiao, Marawi athletes, and the national taekwondo
team.

Universities and other schools hold tournaments for their sports team to go against another
University to compete for the best. In a volleyball tournament, UST vs UAAP, The first round of
the volleyball tournament is wrapping up, and the game between the University of Santo Tomas
and the University of the Art Competition is heating up. In the first set, Eya Laure, a UST
volleyball player, had a big moment when she managed to save her set point with a block. Her
team, along with her hard work, was able to win the set. The first round of the tournament is
coming to an end, and Eya Laure, her team and the audience had an amazing moment to
remember.
