I am third-year student at Universidad Juarez Autonoma de Tabasco and am writing to apply for the
social service without financial support and in the distance modality. I learned about your institute
through the academic coursed imparted by M.C. Ana Gabriela Carranza Rivera: “Laboral opportunities
orientation as a geophysical” and through students who have being interned at the professional
practices program. Being part of the social service program would allow to me to continue my
commitment to geophysical sciences, and I feel confident that I could contribute substantively to the
work of your apartment while strengthening the skills I´ll need for the career in geophysics.

As a geophysical student at the UJAT, I am part of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists and I
imparted and participated in conferences about the contribution of the geosciences to the studies of
environmental problems in Mexico. Because my career goal is to work on the scientific analyses of the
national marine exploration, oil and gas in generally, in Gulf of Mexico zone. I realized a scientific
poster about quality control of the geophysical registers and I realized mu English levels in order to
gain knowledge of the how other countries handle these points. This experience further honed my
research, analytical, writing and presentation skills. I believe the skills sets and personal attributes
developed through such experiences would directly benefit the IMP.
