Section 4: FIRST AID MEASURES

Description of first aid measures

Eye contact For eyes, immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes & call Physician.

Skin contact In case of contact with skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water. If irritation continues get
medical attention. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. (May need to discard
contaminated shoes).

Inhalation After high vapor exposure, remove victim to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If
breathing has stopped give artificial respiration. CALL A PHYSICIAN IMMEDIATELY!

Ingestion Call a physician or poison control center immediately for instruction. this material contains
both methanol and petroleum distillates. Aspiration of material into the lungs due to
vomiting can cause chemical pneumonitis which can be fatal.

For emergency responders

Self-protection of the first aider Ensure that medical personnel are aware of the material(s) involved and take precautions
to protect themselves

Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed

Symptoms No information available

Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed

Note to physicians Keep victim warm and quiet

Section 5: FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

Flammable properties

Contents and propellant are inflammable. On the location above 50 C ,it may cause rupture

Suitable extinguishing media

Use extinguishing agent suitable for type of surrounding fire Dry chemical or CO2 Water spray, fog or regular foam Move
containers from fire area if you can do it without risk Damaged cylinders should be handled only by specialists

Unsuitable extinguishing media

No information available

Specific hazards arising from the chemical

Some may burn but none ignite readily Ruptured cylinders may rocket

Protective equipment and precautions for firefighters

Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective suit

Section 6: ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Personal precautions Do not touch or walk through spilled material Stop leak if you can do it without risk

Environmental precautions
Environmental precautions Use water spray to reduce vapors or divert vapor cloud drift. Avoid allowing water runoff to
contact spilled material Prevent entry into waterways, sewers, basements or confined areas
See Section 12 for additional ecological information

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up

Methods for containment If possible, turn leaking containers so that gas escapes rather than liquid Allow substance
to evaporate

Methods for cleaning up Do not direct water at spill or source of leak

Prevention of secondary hazards Clean contaminated objects and areas thoroughly observing environmental regulations.

Other information Ventilate the area

Section 7: HANDLING AND STORAGE

Precautions for safe handling
Advice on safe handling Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in confined areas

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities

Storage conditions Store in tightly closed containers in a cool, dry place, away from incompatible materials or
sources of heat, ignition or strong oxidizers. Ground and bond all transfer and storage
equipment. Empty containers may contain residue (liquid and/or vapor) and can be
dangerous. Do not pressurize, cut, puncture, incinerate, weld, braze, solder, drill, grind or
expose such containers to heat, flame, sparks or other sources of ignition; they may

explode and cause injury or death. Do not store at temperatures above 50 C or in aluminum
storage vessels.

Incompatible materials Strong oxidizing agents
