II. A. From the various definition of research, what are the common points of view about it?
My conceptual understanding about research is, research is a process of systematic inquiry that entails
collection of data, documentation of critical information, and analysis and interpretation of that
data/information, in accordance with suitable methodologies set by specific professional fields and
academic disciplines. It is also a process of learning and discovery because we learn about the world
around us, and how we learn what works and what doesn't work in our lives.
For me in the characteristics of research, this is based on logical reasoning and involves both inductive
and deductive methods. The data or knowledge that is derived is in real time from actual observations in
natural settings. There is an in-depth analysis of all data collected so that there are no anomalies
associated with it. While in the nature of research, here the research must be scientific and systematic
search for pertinent information on a specific topic. So generally research has to follow a certain
structural process like finding solutions to a problem after a thorough study and analyze the situational
factors.

Our school celebrated the Teacher’s Day Celebration on 15 th day of October with great enthusiasm. The
whole program was organized by the teacher and students in MED. The teacher and students gathered
in one room in order to celebrate Teacher’s Day Celebration. A warm welcome at the school with gifts,
and cards was a pleasant surprise for the teachers.
The program started at 10 a.m. with a prayer song headed by Ethiel Baradi followed by LNU hymn
welcome remarks, statement of purpose, and inspirational message headed by our professor Dr. Thelma
royeca. Our professor gave speech on the students about the importance of Teacher’s Day and the role
of teachers in shaping the students.
As part of our program they also introduced the class officers in MED-Research at the same time they
took their oath. We performed activities like song, and exchange gift. We also arranged some fun games
for the teacher and students to entertain everyone. And we also expressed our gratitude and speech
towards our teacher and fellow students while having the exchange gift. Finally, the program ended by
distributing gift and chocolates.
