SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE

Affirmative Structure:
I
You (singular)
S + V + COMPLEMENT
We
Example: You work in a hospital.
You (plural)
They

S + V (-s, -es, -ies) + COMPLEMENT


Example: She sleeps in a big bed.

- If the verb ends in "-s", "-x", "-z", "-sh", or "-ch", add "-es".
Examples: "He passes the ball to his teammate." "She watches TV
every night."

- If the verb ends in a consonant + "y", change the "y" to "i" and add "-
