Key responsibilities of Microsoft D365 F&O – Technical Developer (Associate Manager/ Manager
level)

Reporting to the CIO, he or she will be responsible for development and maintenance on Microsoft
D365 Finance & Operation platform. This covers the role of being Technical Developer and System
Administrator for Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Detailed responsibilities:

• Designing and developing customized solutions within the Dynamics 365 platform. This
includes coding, unit testing, building applications, and creating, modifying and
troubleshooting existing applications.
• Analyse process/program specifications & translate specifications to program codes,
conforming to program guidelines and programming best practices, this includes setting
development standard.
• Make changes to configurable items, which include hardware, software, documentation, etc.
It covers configuration management planning, configuration identification, configuration
controls & audits
• Develop unit test package, execute tests & document test results to ensure the quality of the
program
• Assist in the integration testing, system testing, User Acceptance Test (UAT) &
implementation activities to fix the reported problems/bugs of the system to ensure the
smooth execution of programs in the production environment
• Investigate all reported problems/errors & initiate amendments & testing so that the system
can operate correctly & efficiently
• Prepare & maintain up-to-date system documentation.
• Analyse functional requirements to translate into application design using established design
methodologies and guideline
• Lead configuration and development of Integration between D365 and other systems
including external applications.
• Perform Technical Configuration of D365 including workflow, security roles, batch jobs, data
migration and import jobs and other related tasks
• Lead training on technical areas of D365 including security, integrations, data imports, report
configuration, user setup.
• Liaison with Microsoft for complex issues and for advanced technical support.
• Provide technical support for D365 and associated technologies for complex issues such as
slowness, performance and other issues including performing root cause analysis and
documenting the resolution on the portal.
• Experience with FIT/GAP process and ability to write complete Functional Requirement
Document and Functional Design Specification.
About the Candidate /Key Position Requirements

Desirable Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge in X++, Security Framework, Azure DevOps

• Strong knowledge in .NET / C#, SQL, Visual Studio, JSON, JQuery and JavaScript
• Experience in designing and developing SSRS reports, Power BI
• Understanding of LCS (Life Cycle Services)
• Experience with integration of D365 F&O with other applications using OData, DMF,
webservices or third-party applications
• Hands-on experience architecting solutions that involve D365 customization to include
server-side code, custom business logic, integration modules, workflow assemblies and
plug-ins.
• Understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns and data structures
• Experience using DevOps for ALM and DLM
• Experience in Security System setup and administration
• SSRS
• EDI Knowledge
• Experience of working in Agile project deliveries
• Experience with Microsoft Logic Apps, Microsoft Flow, Azure Functions and Power
platform is preferred.

Job Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in D365 Development
