Last March 2, 2023 there was a fire in the area of Barangay
Pantal, Dagupan City, the students of Upang quickly held a
program for the victims. The NSTP Outreach Program was
held on March 9, 2023, at 9:00 am. The program was also
held in the said Barangay where the fire happened. There are
18 families affected by the fire. The NSTP Outreach Program
donated fresh vegetables such as eggplants, carrots, tomatoes
and many more. They also donated some important goods for
the victims like coffee and sugar. The CAS-NSTP Outreach
Program, was led by the NSTP Students, NSTP Coordinator
and College of Arts and Sciences faculty in partnership with
the CSDL, SSC, CAHS, Health Campaign and Red Cross
Pangasinan-Dagupan Branch, they all worked as one to
provide some goods for the victims and to make the program
successful.

During the distribution of foods, the members made sure


that the people followed the protocols to assure the safety of
everyone.

In times of emergencies, or when some people are needing


some help, Upang students are always on the way to help the
people in needs. We should make a way to help people even
in a small ways because we never know how much it means
to them. Little help can make a big impact for them to stand
up, fight the battles and face new beginnings
