(Lisbon direction) and to Atlantic (Cascais direction) West Coast has
several boat options to create the perfect conditions to enjoy the
water troughtout the year
Wether your objective is to learn, to be independent on the water or
just enjoy the feeling of the breeze we have a variety of solutions: a
boating license to skipper a boat, a gift voucher for a “Romantic
Cruise”, a charter of a sailing yacht with a skipper for a family outing,

ABOUT US
Our goal is to provide everyone choosing
to sail with us with the best possible sai-
ling and learning experience. Our teaching
pays special attention to individual needs
and we are proud to offer well maintained
boats and equipment of high quality.
Choosing West Coast its also choosing a
training centre that cares about safety and
that its above the legal requirements for
teaching and charter.
SAILING SCHOOL
We are the first training centre in Lisbon
recognised by the Royal Yachting
Association (RYA).
We offer all the RYA sail training schemes
from Start Yachting to Yachtmaster
Offshore as well as the Power boat
scheme up to Powerboat level 2.
The best international sailing and power-
boat schemes are available here in
Oeiras!
We also teach all the shorebased courses
giving full theoretical support for the
practical courses, from RYA Essential
Navigation and Seamanship up to RYA
Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster shoreba-
sed. The shorebased courses are availa-
ble both in the classroom and online (e-
learning). We also offer specialist short
courses like RYA VHF-SRC, RYA
Professional Practises and
Responsabilities, RYA First Aid and RYA
Radar.
All RYA courses are taught in English
PORTUGUESE LICENSES
These courses (“Cartas de Navegador”)
require a good knowledge of portuguese
and will lead you to a Portuguese boating
license.
“Marinheiro”, “Patrão Local”, “Patrão de
Costa”, “Patrão de Alto Mar” and “VHF”
are the levels available.
SKIPPERED CHARTER
With a skipper onboard, from half a day
to a full week, we have many options to
charter a boat. Spend a day with family
and friends, enjoy a birthday or bachelor
party. Chartering a sailing yacht or a RIB is
a Impressive way to spend a unforgetta-
ble day with family or friends.
EVENTS
For corporate events we offer a range of
solutions including teambuilding (deve-
lopment of teamwork, comnunication
and coaching) with a strong orientation
towards outdoor training.
We also offer activities more focused on
EXPERIENCES leisure including incentives to employ-
ees or special offers to clients.
An easy way to start sailing: “sailing bap-
tism” or a “Bugio Tour” are the options
that range from 2 hours up to a full day
aboard.
Our experiences are available as a Voucher
and comes with a gift box, for a unique gift
idea.
