About 2 years ago, I usually went to work by bus.

But the traffic jams happen every day and It’s took me
more an hour to go to the company. I’m very tired with that so I decided to buy a bicycle in the store.
Although I found all of bicycle in there, I didn’t see anything fit to me. When I told that to my friend, she
sold her old bicycle for me. Then I began using bicycle.

The First, I was frightened of cycling on road, there were so many cars and lorries, and I thought that the
accident maybe occur anytime. The following day, I took bicycle to park and cycled slowly about 5 – 10
minutes. I felt so good. About a week later, I could go from my house to local shops by bicycle. Then,

I went to the city center, from my house to there is about 5 kilometers and It’s the farthest distance that
I went. From then on, I could go anywhere I wanted by bicycle.

And now, I cycle about 8 kilometers to work every day, so I feel fit and healthy. I still spend 30 minutes
to going to works and save half an hour a day.

Last week, I had finished reading the novel which was Mat Biec. That’s work of Nguyen Nhat Anh.and
the book about the sad love story. At First, the story in book about a peaceful village in Vietnam in the
2000s.Ha Lan is beautiful girl, she has blue eyes, and she lives with her grandmother. Ngan and Ha Lan
are best friend, they had many beautiful memories in this village. Until Ngan falls in love with Ha Lan
when they were about ten years old, but Ha Lan doesn’t know that. About 4 years ago, she goes to the
city to stay with her mom and study school there. So, Ngan must leave her a long time and he promise
to her that he’ll meet her soon. And then, Ngan also went to city after 2 years. But when he sees Ha Lan
again, She’s very different, She’s as close to him as before. Ngan doesn’t know reason and he’s very sad.
After a while, Ha Lan knows and fall in love with Ngan’s cousin - Dung. And she’s pregnant but Dung
does not responsible, and break up her. About ten years later, Ha Lan ‘s daughter lives with her
grandmother like Ha Lan before, but Ngan also stays in village and he’s teacher in there. He takes care of
Ha Lan’s daughter as his daughter, and he still wait for Ha Lan accepts his feelings. Finally, Ngan cannot
sustain, and he decided to leave village. When his train rolls, Ha Lan can’t meet him. She lost someone
who really loves her.

Hi everybody, my name is Hitomi. I’m from Osaka in Japan. I have a master’s degree in Economics at
Tokyo University. I studied hard to get it and I got a job in New York next year. I’m happy and a bit
worried about my English skills. I studied English at school, my writing skill is OK, but I don’t confident
about my speaking skills.

I want to learn everything about America cinema, I always loved America films. It can help to improve
my English skills. I usually talk about films with others students and when I have mistake , they can help
me. By that way, I can be confident when I talk with everybody and my English skills improve quickly
than I think.
Tennis is my favorite sport. I play it twice a week and I usually play with my friend. Sometimes, I can
make new friends when I play with them. I also play golf at the weekends. I often do gym at university
because it can make me keep fit and stronger. When I feel stress, I’ll do yoga to relax. I’ll be better, it is
very effective.

Last year I went on a trip to Scotland with 3 friends. There we met accident so I can't forget. Once we
reached the top of the mountain and enjoyed the sandwiches weather changes. The snow began to fall
so heavily that our visibility was only 20 meters. We couldn't stay at the top of the mountain any longer,
so we decided started walking down the road to the next village and hoped to spend the night at some
villager's house. But the snow layer is getting deeper. All confident walkers have no problem. Suddenly
there's a sound shouted from behind me. Anthony lay on the ground because he fell on a rock. His leg
was in severe pain, so we guessed it was broken. We called for help by cell phone. Emergency service
the mountain rescue team came by helicopter and picked us up to the hospital. Good luck, Anthony the
broken leg is not severe, so no surgery is needed. That we all feel very relieved.
