    Flood is not just a natural disaster in Indonesia, it’s a habit.

    During rainy season, some big cities such as Jakarta and Bekasi will likely drown.

    Lately, this phenomena happens in several areas of Indonesia.

    The main cause of this situation is the lack of green area.

    The land and trees are replaced by buildings so nothing can absorb rain waters.

    In order to prevent worse flood disasters, government should make better actions.

    Firstly, there must be massive moratorium in new building construction.

    Then made a clear regulation about AMDAL so no one can find any chance to make excuses.

    There should also be a revision in city planning, so green area will be prepared with proper calculation.

    By doing this, the forest will be rejuvenated and the land have better management to absorb rain water.
