“THE TEENAGERS NOW AND THEN”

(INTRODUCTION)

“Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in

speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity, show yourself an example of
those who believe”. How are teenagers now and then? Are they the
same? Are they like what they used to be? What were they then? The
teenagers nowadays are commonly known as aggressive, and reckless,
aren’t they?

(BODY)

Let’s talk about the part, teenagers way back then, they don’t
have cellphones, did not stay past curfew, and had a lot of different
school rules. They don’t feel depressed about being daughter/sister of
my brother like I feel, I’m scared of failing my grades and making a
mistake. As I said teenagers before were simple, while the teenagers
now are more stressed they have their own understanding like some
teenagers nowadays don’t follow elders anymore, they just have to do
things they want.

Even though a lot of things from the past eventually come back
around. Like fashion trends. What its like being a teenager will keep the
changing as the years go by. You only get your teen year once.

(CONCLUSION)
Activity 1

ROLE OF OSMOSIS AND DIFFUSION IN THE PRESERCVATION OF

ORGANS DONATED FOR TRANSPLANT:
Organs to be transplanted lack oxygen, nutrients and other essential materials,
since they have been idle for a long time.
Osmosis and diffusion help these organs filled with these essential materials, such
as water, nutrients and materials, as if they were attached in the human body.
BTW, osmosis is the flow of water from less concentration of solutes to him.
Diffusion is the scattering of particles from higher concentration to lower.

WHY MUST ORGANS BE PRESENTED IN SPECIAL SOLUTIONS

PRIOR TO THEIR TRANSPLANT?

Because the organs degrade quickly once they are removed from a body. The
more they have degraded the less likely they are to work properly. So they have
to be preserved.

IN ORGAN PRESERVATION THESE ARE THE SUBSTANCES IN ITS

SOLUTION:
Histidine, tryptophan, and ketogluturate are the three key components in
HTK solution. Histidine serves as a buffer and retards the tissue Ph
decline during cold ischemic/hypoxic conditions. Tryptophan acts as a
free radical scavenger and membrane stabilizer.
