INTRODUCTION
What is work Immersion? Work Immersion is a component of the Senior High School
Curriculum that consist of 80 hours of hands- on experience or work simulation for grade 12
students. The students will be exposed to the actual work place setting and enrich their
competencies. This will provided by the school under the supervision of the school head and
the designated personnel of the partner.
Nevertheless, due to the COVID- 19 pandemic threat the learners’ physical attendance in school
is prohibited which cannot provide students with real workplace experience and exposure to
and become familiar with work related environments that relates to their field of specialization.
And this portfolio is the new requirement for work immersion to complete the immersion of
the students to graduate.

The Cookery NCII is a program provides knowledge and skills in the use of kitchen tools,
preparing and cooking hot and cold meals. This is a technical- vocational program that develop
skills in planning, preparing, cooking and serving various menus. Students under the Cookery
NCII program are trained in different food preparation and presentation techniques based on
industry standards.
