Admission Process and Eligibility for admission; Session 2023-24

University Affiliation {AKTU, CCSU, BTE}:-


 As per University norms, College/ Institute running various courses need to take
Extension of Affiliation for next academic year by filling on-line application on
University portal before start of admission process of next session and submit the
hard copies of application to the University as desired. 

Admission Process:-
 A candidate wish to take admission in any of the program should meet minimum
eligibility criteria as per affiliated university norms.
 The registration process for admission starts as per the university schedule.
 For admission;
1. Interested candidate approach to Institute along with his/her Marks Sheet &
other concerned Certificate.
2. Obtain Application Form from Admission Cell of the Institute. Candidate can
also fill the online inquiry form by clicking on the link

3. Candidate seeking admission in any program are required to meet the
Admission Counsellor in the Institute Premises. The Admission Counsellor will
process the admission including verification of candidate’s documents.
4. The admission Counsellor will confirmed the admission on the basis of
fulfilment of minimum eligibility criteria as per norms. 
 Candidate, on successful admission, submit all desired documents to Institute &
deposit the desired fee.

Eligibility Criteria for CCSU affiliated programs:-

For BBA; UG Program (Total Intake-180 + 33%),


 Candidates seeking admission to the BBA Programme must have passed 10+2 (or its
equivalent) examination from a recognized Board/ University.
Or
 Candidates appearing for +2 examination or awaiting their results are also eligible to
apply. Their candidature, however, shall be considered, subject to their clearing the
qualifying examination.
 Passed 10+2 in any stream with a minimum of 45% marks for Gen/OBC candidates
and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates is required.

For BCA; UG Program (Total Intake-180 + 33%),


 Candidates seeking admission to the BCA Programme must have passed 10+2 (or its
equivalent) examination from a recognized Board/ University. Maths is mandatory at
High School or Intermediate.
Or
 Candidates appearing for +2 examination or awaiting their results are also eligible to
apply. Their candidature, however, shall be considered, subject to their clearing the
qualifying examination.
 Passed 10+2 in any stream with a minimum of 45% marks for Gen/OBC candidates
and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates is required.
For B. Ed.; UG Program (Total Intake-100),
 Candidates seeking admission to the B. Ed. Program must have passed UG program
examination from a recognized Board/ University.
 Candidates appearing for UG examination or awaiting their results are also eligible to
apply. Their candidature, however, shall be considered, subject to their clearing the
qualifying examination.
 Passed UG program in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks for Gen/OBC
candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates is required. Also, the entrance test is
compulsory for the admission to the B. Ed. program.

Eligibility Criteria for AKTU affiliated programs:-


About TFW (Tuition Fee Waiver) Quota Seats:-
As per the AICTE notification, Fee Waiver seats for economically weaker candidates are
available in B. Tech., MCA, MCA & B. Pharmacy courses in all institutions affiliated to AKTU,
Lucknow. No tuition fee will be charged from the candidates admitted against such seats.

The fee waiver seats will be limited to maximum of 5% of the approved intake in the course,
and will be over & above of the sanctioned intake. To avail this facility, a candidate must
submit Certificate No. 12 (Income Certificate) issued by Government official prepared
through portal “edistrict.up.gov.in” after 01 st April of 2023 at the time of verification of
documents. It should not be confused with EWS Category.

These candidates are not eligible for any kind of scholarship awarded by Government.

About EWS (Economical Weaker Section) Quota Seats:-

The Institute fill vacant seats (remaining of 85% seat of UPCET), showing after counselling
on university portal as per university norms. Same way, the Institute may fill vacant seat of
EWS quota also, if showing vacant on university portal after counselling; these candidates
required to submit Form-13 issued duly signed by Government official after 01 st April 2023
with attested photo of the candidate pasted on this form.

Eligibility for EWS (Economical Weaker Section) candidate:-

1. The annual Income of family members should be less than Rs 8 lakh.


2. The agriculture land should not be more than 5 acre in the name of family members.
3. The residential flat should not be more than 1000 sq-ft in the name of family
members.
4. The residential plot should not be more than 100 sq-yards in the name of family
members.
5. EWS seats can be allotted to candidate of only General Category (SC/ST, OBC
category are not eligible for admission on these seats) and of U. P. domicile (seat
cannot be allotted to other state candidate).

Who are U. P. Domicile:-

1. Candidates, who have passed the qualifying examination from an institution located
in the State of Uttar Pradesh and belong to GENERAL EWS Category are eligible for
admission to all the courses at all the institutions against available General (EWS)
seats.
2. Candidates, who have passed the qualifying examination from an institution located
outside U.P. and whose parents are domicile of U.P. and belong to GENERAL EWS
Category are eligible for admission to all the courses at all the institutions against
available General (EWS) seats.

The candidate admitted on EWS seats through counselling or on Management quota are
required to pay all fee as a general candidate pay, no fee concession like tuition fee waiver.

These candidates can fill their scholarship form of U. P. State.

For B. Tech 1st year; UG Program

 Candidates seeking admission to 04 yrs B. Tech program must have passed 10+2 (or
its equivalent) examination from a recognized Board/ University.
Or
 Candidates appearing for +2 examination or awaiting their results are also eligible to
apply. Their candidature, however, shall be considered, subject to their clearing the
qualifying examination.
 Passed 10+2 in science stream with a minimum of 45% marks for Gen/OBC
candidates and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates is required. The compulsory
subjects are Physics & Mathematics and one subject Chemistry/ Bio-Technology /
Biology.

For MBA 1st year; PG Program

 Candidates seeking for admission to the 02 yrs MBA program must have passed
Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years duration. Obtained at least 50% marks (45%
marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the qualifying
examination.
Or
 Candidates appearing for UG examination or awaiting their results are also eligible
to apply. Their candidature, however, shall be considered, subject to their clearing
the qualifying examination.

For MCA 1st year; PG Program

 Candidates seeking for admission to the 02 yrs MCA program must have passed
Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years duration i.e. B.C.A/ B.Sc. (Computer Science)/
B.Sc. (IT) / B.E. (CSE)/ B. Tech. (CSE) / B.E. (IT) / B. Tech. (IT) or equivalent Degree.
Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST
category) in the qualifying examination.
OR
Passed any graduation degree (e.g.: B.E. / B. Tech. / B. Sc / B.Com. / B.A. etc.,) with
Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks
in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination.
 Candidates appearing for UG examination or awaiting their results are also eligible to
apply. Their candidature, however, shall be considered, subject to their clearing the
qualifying examination.
DIRECT ADMISSION (LATERAL ENTRY) TO 2nd YEAR OF B.TECH
Passed Minimum 03 years or 02 years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least
45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in any branch of
Engineering and Technology (except Agriculture Engg., Pharmacy and Architecture) from
the institution located in UP and recognized by BTEUP.
OR
Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45%
marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) and passed 10+2
examination with Mathematics as a subject.

Eligibility Criteria for BTE affiliated programs:-

For Polytechnic 1st year; Diploma Program

 Candidates seeking admission to 03 yrs Diploma program must have passed 10 th


Class examination from a recognized Board/ University in any stream with a
minimum of 35% marks.

Admission to 02nd year Lateral Entry of Diploma


 Candidates seeking admission to 02 yrs Diploma program must have passed 12 th
Class examination from a recognized Board/ University in science stream with a
minimum of 35% marks.
OR
 Candidates seeking admission to 02 yrs Diploma program must have passed 10 th
Class examination and 02 yrs ITI from a recognized Board/ University.

Documents required for Admission to the affiliated program:-


The following documents are to be submitted along with the application form. - Original
and photocopy:
 Mark Sheet of X and XII (Original + Photocopy)
 Passing Certificate of X and XII (Original + Photocopy)
 XII Board Examination Admit Card (Photocopy)
 Migration Certificate (in case of CBSE, ICSE Board, if belongs to other than U.P.;
Original)
 Transfer Certificate (TC) for UP Board Student (Original + Photocopy).
 4 Recent Passport Size Photographs.
 Gap Year Certificate (in case gap after class XII; Original + Photocopy).
 Caste Certificate (if applicable; Original + Photocopy))
 Domicile Certificate (if belongs to other than U.P.; Original + Photocopy)
 Character Certificate (Original)
 Aadhar Card (Photocopy).

Note: A candidate who has taken admission in any affiliated program of this campus
can apply for the scholarship as per the State Government norms.
