LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, students should be able to

 Describe a translation by using a vector represented by ( xy ) , AB vector∨a


 Add and Subtract Vectors

 Multiplying a vector by a scalar

 Reflect simple figures

 Rotate simple figures through multiples of 90 degrees.

PRESENTATION: How is it taught?


Auditory:
 Teacher should check whether the students knows the meaning of magnitude and direction.

Visual: Teacher will show a PowerPoint presentation how does translations work in vectors.

Kinesthetic/ Tactile

PROCESS: How is it done? (Activity)


 Warm up by checking student’s prior knowledge –collaborative learning
 Students will be formed in to 3 different groups with 3 in a team. Each team will have different level of
learners.

 With help of white board explain and demonstrate the L.O of the day.

Students will be given different exercise to work out in a group and come up with an answer.

Teacher will check the answers in the class and correct the mistakes.

PRODUCT: How to demonstrate knowledge? (Assessment)


At the end of the week, We will solve past year paper questions, and I will give assessment to check
their understanding,

Plenary: Review/Closure
At the end of week, students should be able to translate the vectors , add and subtract
vectors. They should be able to multiply a vector by a scalar. They should also know how
to reflect and rotate simple shapes in the multiples of 90.
