Examples:
I have seen that movie twenty times.
People have traveled to the moon.
We haven’t met her today.
Jack hasn’t submitted his task.

Regular verb rule
verb ends in -e, add -d. verb ends in a consonant,
 like → liked double the final consonant
 arrive → arrived and add -ed.
 decide → decided  hug → hugged
verb ends in consonant + -y,  plan → planned
change -y to -i and add -ed.  stop → stopped
 carry → carried
 try → tried For all other verbs, add -ed
 study → studied  watch → watched
verb ends in vowel + -y, add -ed.*  ask → asked
 play → played exceptions  clean → cleaned
 stay → stayed  pay → paid
 enjoy → enjoyed  lay → laid
