Introduction:

A firm called Al Nimr Expo has hired me as an intern. International trade shows and conferences
organised by Al Nimr Expo provide businesses in Oman the chance to expand their reach and
expand their clientele in the Sultanate. We have established ourselves as a market leader and one
of Oman's most inventive and recognised trade event organisers since our founding over a
decade ago. A wide range of essential industries are represented in their award-winning exhibits
and conferences including construction & building, engineering, machinery, interior design,
furniture, communications, education, and agriculture & fisheries (Otero, 2021). As a result of
our many years of expertise and in-depth knowledge of the Sultanate's many industries, we are
dedicated to providing our attendees with high-quality events that are both operationally
excellent and highly relevant. Almost 75 percent of the exhibition area at each event is occupied
by exhibitors from outside the Middle East, making it one of the region's most important trade
shows. It's not only that we organise high-quality B2B trade shows and country-specific
exhibitions; we also provide our loyal exhibitors a full suite of marketing tools and display
solutions.

Reflection and Self Evaluation

The Al Nimr Expo firm hired me as a data entry clerk in February, and I couldn't be happier. It
was my first foray into the world of paid work. I was anxious to acquire new skills that would
help me in my career as a data scientist, but I was also apprehensive about a few things. After
completing my internship, I can confidently say that I made the right choice. In many respects,
my internship experience surpassed my expectations in terms of educational growth, personal
development, and the ability to put into practise what I'd learned in the classroom (Lado
Campelo, 2021).

In retrospect, I think my supervisor did a good job of introducing me to the various people in the
department, explaining the project, its goals, and the schedule for completion. On my first day, I
was given a tour of the office. As much as I could offer, my supervisor was delighted to have me,
and was receptive to any thoughts or comments I had. As a result, I was able to concentrate
better at work.
Computer programming language or information may be typed in to a computer's data storage
system as a data entry task. A Data Entry Executive's ability to maintain accuracy and speed are
vital to their success. In order to succeed, one must be able to work long hours without
sacrificing quality. Numbness in the hands, wrists, shoulders, and other parts of the body might
be one of the side effects of the stress that everyone is subjected to (Haun, 2019).

To be considered for the post of Data Entry Operator, applicants must possess exceptional
keyboarding abilities. With a high degree of precision, most organisations want to recruit
workers with excellent Keystrokes Per Minute (KPM). In spite of this, numbers might differ
from company to business, but they are based on individual keys rather than words. Despite the
fact that computers can scan, print, and conduct other data entry operations, it may be quite
crucial to those who spend all day in front of a computer and are still working hard to pay
attention to the tiniest of details.

Using audio input when entering data into a computer or comparable system makes it possible to
listen to what is being entered. To maximise output, a Data Entry Operator just has to be able to
keep up with the recording and ensure that there are no unnecessary pauses. Accurate data entry
is critical in applications such as programming, where a single typo may have a significant
impact on the computer code. Misinformation or embarrassment may be spread through
inaccuracies in published or printed spreadsheets.

It takes a lot of mental and physical energy to maintain accurate and error-free knowledge for
lengthy periods of time. Entering enormous amounts of data into a computer while preserving
accuracy may be a frustrating experience (de Oliveira Leite, 2020).

The project I worked on during my internship was a long-term investigation of the exhibition
map. The purpose of this project was to complete all of the exhibit's data entry needs. In order to
succeed, the project relied heavily on the ability to communicate with each other.

My research and writing on the exhibits began this week, and I've already completed a
comprehensive report. Because we were all learning, I was able to complete two volumes in less
than two hours. In week two, I'll enter everything into an Excel spreadsheet and begin collecting
information from consumers over the phone. In order to be compatible with the Past Perfect
archiving application, these data input sheets were created. After completing the data entry
forms, we would duplicate the book's allocated number onto the card inside the book and then
return the volumes to the shelves in numerical order. As a result of working with the Past Perfect
instruction disc and the book sheets, we all became data entry masters. This project has helped
me improve my ability to communicate effectively. For the Dubai Wood Exhibition, I contacted
the embassies to get the date updated. I accomplish all of my contacts at the embassies in week
four. Week 5 is dedicated to finalising relationships with embassies and organising invitation
cards for an idf Oman display. During my six weeks, I thoroughly studied and comprehended the
exhibition map.

A vast amount of information that I had no idea about only a few short months ago has now
become a wealth of knowledge. They were not always able to convey their needs and wishes,
thus working in a person-centered manner was essential in this capacity. As a result of my work
in this position, I was able to better communicate with clients in a sensitive yet acceptable way.
As a result, I was prepared for their responses to the material presented. Many aspects of my life
were impacted greatly by this job, including my patience, excitement, communication, and
initiative. I am certain that if I decide to apply for this job, I will be able to handle any interview
that comes my way because of all of the tools that were available to me throughout my
programme. Because of the Mock Interviews, I am able to reassure myself that I am ready for the
real thing (Matsuo, 2018).

As a prospective student on your programme, my desire to learn more about this field and my
excitement for it will be critical to my success. Over the last several years, I've travelled widely.
In my travels, it became clear to me that my ability to communicate effectively was essential,
and that my passion resides in assisting others.
