LET ALL PARTIES concerned attend the Honourable Judge in Chambers on the

for the hearing of an application by counsel for the Applicants for Orders:-

1. THAT court order be issued for exhuming the body/corpse or remains of the late
Muwonge Robert (deceased) and transporting it to Kiboga for a decent burial

2. THAT costs of this application be in the cause.

TAKE NOTICE that this application is supported by the Affidavit of on the following
grounds;

THAT the applicant is a daughter of the late and through meeting, the family has
agreed to exhume the deceased’s body/corpse/remains.

THAT the deceased died of an accident in 1991 and was buried at his mother’s place of
residence at Nsambya West, Makindye Division, Kampala District.

THAT now the family of the deceased have unanimously resolved to exhume his
body/corpse/remains and transport it to Lunnya Village, Lwamata Parish, Kiboga District
to give them a decent burial.

THAT it is in the interest of justice that this application be granted.

AFFIDAVIT IN SUPPORT OF AN APPLIACTION FOR EXHUMING &

TRANSPORTING THE BODY OF THE LATE MUWONGE ROBERT

I NANSAMBA FAITH of C/o M/s Lufunya Associated Advocates, Plot 92

William Street, P.O. Box 23539 Kampala do hereby make solemn oath and
state as hereunder:

1. THAT I am an adult female Ugandan of sound mind, the Applicant herein and I
make oath in that capacity (see copy of my national I.D. attached marked
“A”).

2. THAT I am a resident of Nakinyuguzi, Salaama Parish, Makindye Division, Kampala

District and a daughter of the late Muwonge Robert.

3. THAT I was informed by my paternal uncles and aunties that my father passed
away in 1991 and was buried at Nsambya West, Makindye Division, Kampala
District.

4. THAT in my a family meeting held on 31st July 2022 at the place of where my father
buried, it was unanimously resolved that his body/corpse/remains be exhumed and
transported to Lunnya Village, Lwamata Parish, Kiboga District (see copy of the
family meeting minutes attached marked “B”).

5. THAT I have been informed by my lawyers and other authorities like Kabalagala
Police Station O.C. CID, which information I verily believe to be true that I will need
a court order from this honourable court to exhume and transport his body.

6. THAT the area L.C.1 officials and village elders have no objection and have also
agreed to help us effectuate our intention provided we get a court order ( see copy
of the L.C.1 letter attached marked “C”).

7. THAT I depone this affidavit in support on application for a court order to exhume
the body/corpse or remains of the late Muwonge Robert from where he was buried
in Nsambya West and transport him to Kiboga for a decent burial.
8. THAT whatever is stated herein is true and correct to the best of my Knowledge
and belief, save for the contents whose source of information is herein disclosed.
