    The Three levels of Content of Etabsam

    Factual

    Etabsam was composed by James Lim “Fardz” Fajardo in Masbateno dialect. Its factual meaning is the
    portrayal of everyday life in the city of Masbate.

    Conventional

    The conventional meaning may denote poverty and corruption.

    Subjective

    The subjective meaning, in a literal sense, is the poor sad state of the city of Masbate. It does not focus
    on one subject in particular but the peculiar lives led by a wide range of people from poverty to teenage
    drinking.
