As a math teacher, I had the pleasure of seeing the contribuitions inside and outside the
classroom of Dénio Rezı́lia Fátima Jaime. He demonstrated a great strength of growth
throughout the year and has brought great energy to the classes, he is the kind of motivated,
hardworking and curious student who helped make our classroom a lively environment and
place of knowledge production.

I am not surprised to find that he wants to join in your engineering programs, he always
impressed me with his ability to understand and solve complex math problems and I am
confident that he will continue showing his commitment.

Throughout the year, Dénio was an active participant in our classes and always helped his
colleagues in solving math exercises, and, at the end of his year of high school he formed a
group with some of his colleagues to help students to prepare themselves for the academic
exams. He is also a friendly student and he have a great ability to work in a team, as exam-
ple of this, he worked together with other students as a social activist in order do identify
people in situations of social vulnerability and forward them to social support services, for
this reason I am convinced that he could be beneficial to the development of our country in
the future.

I am sure that having him on your scholarship he will continue to show the same commit-
ment and decency in everything he does, which is why I highly recommend him for your
