What to Do?
1. Put a paper clip on one side of the book.
2. Tape the paper, plastic cover, and sand paper on the floor.
3. Place the book on the top of the paper.
4. Attach the hook of the spring balance to the paper clip.
5. Pull the book using the spring balance.
6. Record the amount of the force needed to move the book (as indicated on
the spring balance) on the table below.
7. Repeat the process for trial 2 -3.
8. Repeat the steps using plastic cover, then sand paper.
