EXT. COUNTRY ROAD – EVENING

A wide shot of the country road, no one is around, no

cars. The area is moonlit, only light enough to make out the
forest in the background. A car comes driving around the
corner lighting everything up with its head lights and leaving
it in the darkness. Music can be heard faintly from outside
the car.

CUT TO

INT. INSIDE OF THE CAR – EVENING

Load rock music plays from inside the car. MC is driving,

bobbing their head to the beat. Their face can barely be seen
from the darkness of the night. A load thud comes from outside
the car causing the car to struggle so they pull over. They
exit the car

CUT TO

EXT. COUNTRY ROAD – EVENING

MC exit the car and walks round to the tire to find it

deflated.

MC
(angry)
Oh, come on, I just got these

Frustrated he walk up and down visibly thinking about

what to do. He pulls out his phone to see he has no service.
He throws his phone in the car and looks around. Headlights
from another car can be seen coming towards him. MC moves out
into the road and waves for them to stop and the car slows
down. He runs round to the side window.

MC
Where you heading

STRANGER 1
Back to town, you need some help

MC
Yeah, I need to get to the mechanic by the church

STRANGER 1
Alright get in I’ll take you.
 MC gets in the car
CUT TO

INT. STRANGERS CAR – EVENING

MC put on the seat belt and the car drives off

MC
So Where are you guys heading

STRANGER 2
Just getting back to town

MC
Oh, you been out

Stranger 1 turns up the ADD SONG HERE THAT FORSHADOWS WHATS

HAPPENING . MC starts too look uncomfortable and a bit
confused. The car at this point is moving through a town.

MC
I can just get out here if you like the mechanic is
not far from here know

STRANGER 1
No, it’s ok we will take you

The car continues for a while. It drives past the turning for
the mechanic. MC looks at the turning

MC
That’s the turning there I can just get out here…

The strangers sit still continuing to drive. MC starts to get

panicked and nervous. He starts moving around in his seat,
smiling nervously and fidgeting with his hands.

MC
(panicked, on edge)
Where are we going? Pull over

STRANGER 2
(angry and annoyed)
I’m tired of your voice

Stranger 2 reaches from the back seat and wraps a bag over
MC’s head. MC struggles and starts to slow down movement. When
it is clear that MC is unconscious camera cuts.

CUT TO
EXT. LARGE FIELD – EVENING

Camera starts of black with background noises of Mc groaning

and muffling sounds. The bag then gets taken of the camera to
imitate MC’s POV. The screen is white eventually fading into a
normal view of the area to show his eyes adjusting to the
light. MC is sat tied to a chair with a cloth in his mouth.
Two Industrial lights on a stand are shinning on him with the
Two Strangers stood next to them

STRANGER 1
Where’s the money. You know you’re deadline was last
week, where’s the money?

Stranger 2 walks over a take the cloth out of MCs mouth, MC

gasps for air.

MC
(continuing to struggle for air, stammering his words)
I – Don’t – Know what you’re talking about

STRANGER 2
(angry and frustrated)
You borrowed money months ago and your deadline was
last week, instead you’ve been running around spending
money like this debt doesn’t exist (pauses) do you think
we wouldn’t notice, you think we forgot?

MC
(Panicked and worried)
I told you I don’t know what you’re talking about. I
don’t have any debt from you

STRANGER 2
You seem to have cleaned your self up since last
time we spoke. Spending more of our money are you

MC
I always look like this I told you, you’ve got wrong
guy

STRANGER 1
This will help you remember

Stranger 1 Pulls up a video of him promising to give back the

money. MC looks distracted and rough in the video complete
opposite to how he looks normally.

STRANGER 1
 Your telling me this man that looks exactly like you
isn’t you. You expect me to believe that?

MC watches confused and lost for words

MC
What? That’s not me. I didn’t do that. I don’t need
money

STRANGER 2
Stop messing around and give us the money

MC
I don’t have your money, someone is pretending to be
me, they will have your money

A phone starts to ring and Stranger 1 walks off to answer it.

Stranger 2 walks towards MC slowly picking up a piece of wood.
MC starts to wriggle and move around

MC
Please it’s not me

STRANGER 2
What do you think is going on right now? You’re not
getting out of this. Just give us the money and it will
be over

MC Wriggles his arms around and manages to loosen them a bit

without Stranger 2 noticing. Stranger 2 stand next to MC with
his face close to his.

STRANGER 2
DO you know what’s going to happen if you don’t get
that money?

MC continues to loosen his wrists without him noticing.

MC
(stammering)
Um, er –

Panicked MC headbutts Stranger 2 causing him to fall back away

from him. Stranger 2 is visibly confused and concussed. MC
takes his hands out and unties his legs. He runs of just as
Stranger 2 collects himself and notices what’s happened.
Stranger 1 comes back from the phone call.

STRANGER 1
(angry and annoyed)
Where is he? How did you let him get away?
 STRANGER 2
(groaning and frustrated)
I don’t know he hit me and –

STRANGER 1
I don’t want to hear excuses where did he go?

CUT TO

EXT. COUNTRY ROAD – EVENING

MC comes running through a gate leading onto the gravel road

where the stranger’s car was left. The strangers can be heard
from the distance shouting. MC opens the car door panicked he
frantically searches for the keys and finds them in the visor
of the car. struggles to start the car. He then pulls away
leaving a trail of smoke. Just as he’s out of shot the two
strangers appear through the gate.

STRANGER 1
You let him get away, do you realise what’s going to
happen to us. You’re a complete idiot

STRANGER 2
(still concussed)
I know I know I messed up

Stranger 1s phone starts ringing

STRANGER 1
What am I gunna tell him now

Stranger 2 is quite and keeping to himself. Stranger 1 takes

the call and walks off

CUT TO

INT. STRANGERS CAR – NIGHT

MC looks stressed and confused. He’s driving along and spots

his car and what looks like a pile of nails on the floor. He
gets out to inspect the area looking around his car and the
nails. He then gets back in the car confused and frustrated.
MC leans over to the glove box and find a file with pictures
of himself using a different name and notices that he looks of
in them. He pulls out his phone from the glove box to find no
service again. He places down his phone and continues driving.
He then parks the car near an ally way connected to his house.
He exits the car and begins to walk through the ally. Faint
chatter can be heard in the distance from nearby houses. MC is
paranoid constantly looking around. A car can be heard driving
past startling him. He continues to look around and walking
fast towards the end of the ally way

CUT TO

INT. MC HOUSE – NIGHT

Walks up to the door looking around nervously to check if

anyone has followed. Once entered the house he walks into the
kitchen to make himself a drink. He stands there nervously and
scared while taking sips of water. He moves towards his laptop
and searches for the name he found. The computer displays
information of a man who had recently passed. He was adopted
from a young age and had a twin brother but no one knew
anything about his birth parents. MC looks shocked at the
information he had found.

MC
They must have mistaken me for him. They aren’t
going to let me go

MC runs up to his room and starts to pack frantically. A car

can be heard pulling up outside. This grabs MC attention so he
grabs his bag and runs down stairs heading for the back door.
He walks along the side of his house listing for the
strangers.

Stranger 2
(in the distance)
Surely, he’s not dumb enough to come back to his
house come on we need to go

STRANGER 1
(in the distance)
I don’t know he seemed to know what he was doing
when he hit you

STRANGER 2
(in the distance)
I made a mistake alright, come on let’s find away in

The strangers move round to the gate and start to fiddle with
the lock. MC darts back into the house panicking looking
around trying to find an escape. He runs around the side of
his bed and pulls out a shoe box. MC opens the box and pulls
out the gun. MC runs downstairs. The two strangers can be
heard trying to open the back door. MC swings open the door
and sprints outside. The camera comes back to the strangers
stood outside
 STRANGER 2
(frantic)
He’s gone out the front, move quick

EXT. ALLYWAY – NIGHT

The strangers run back to the front of the house and spot
him running. MC is running down the ally and hides in a bush
the two strangers run past. They stop at the end of the path
and look around to find MC stood behind them holding up the
gun.

STRANGER 1
What do you think you’re doing, this won’t help you

STRANGER 2
Your making this so much harder than it needs to be
just give us the money and we leave you alone

MC
I don’t have your money I’m not the one you’re after

The strangers start to creep closer to MC

MC
Stop moving closer

STRANGER 2
You’re not gunna shoot us, you can’t do it

MC
I will don’t test me

The strangers continue moving closer

MC
I told you not to move

The camera is on MC face as the gun is fired the light flashes

in his face and is left with him stood alone.
