    Jacob Riis immigrated to New York in 1870 and worked as a police reporter. While working in poor, crime-ridden areas of the city, he began bringing a camera to document how people lived in their homes and living conditions, pioneering modern photojournalism. The painting "The Swimming Hole" from 1884 depicts a colorful, detailed scene that gives viewers a sense of being able to see every detail. It is now housed at the Amon Carter Museum in Fort Worth, Texas.     Jacob Riis born in 1849 in Denmark immigrated to New York In 1870 worked as a police

    reporter with the New York Evening Sun. He worked in the poorest, most crime-ridden areas
    of the city, soon he decided to start to bring a camera to film how people lived in their houses
    and their conditions. This was the start of modern photojournalism.

    My Wild Irish Rose song is 3 minutes long and I unfortunately couldn't understand what it
    talks about. The orchestra is very nice and the song conveyed emotion to the audience in
    my opinion.

    realist Thomas Eakin. The painting is very
    colorful and detailed what
    gives a feeling to see every detail .
