Science and technology have brought many benefits to our lives and have made
it easier and faster to accomplish certain tasks. From modern medical treatments to
communication and transportation systems, many of the advancements we enjoy today
are a result of scientific and technological progress. Does it actually serve our interests?

IMPROVED HEALTHCARE

Scientific advancements have led to the development of new medical treatments,

better diagnosis tools, and innovative medical procedures that have saved countless
lives and improved the quality of life for many people. I’ve witnessed these
advancements when we dealt with the COVID-19 virus which is still lingers with us.

INCREASED PRODUCTIVITY

Technological advancements have made it possible to automate many tasks,

reducing the time and effort required to accomplish them. This has led to increased
productivity and efficiency in many industries. Due to the application of science, many
laborers and workers become productive with the help of machines which makes our
work easier.

BETTER COMMUNICATION

The advancements of communication technologies have made it possible to

connect with people from all over the world in real-time, fostering global collaboration
and understanding. For example, the internet and smartphones have revolutionized the
way we communicate, access information, and conduct business. We can now connect
with people all over the world, learn new skills, and work remotely from anywhere.

ENHANCED EDUCATION

Technological advancements have transformed the way we learn, making

education more accessible and interactive. Online courses, virtual classrooms, and

knowledge. For instance, the blended learning modality made us use of technology to
be able to continue our studies. I, myself, experienced in engaging to online discussions
and virtual classrooms. Also, audio visual presentation with the aid of technology helps
students to be more engaged inside the classroom.

faster to travel, reducing travel times and increasing accessibility to remote locations.
Such as the installment of taxi in region 2 helps the commuters to easily access
transportation and need not to wait for more than an hour to be queued in terminals.
