KNOWLEDGE OF SECONDHAND SMOKE AND BEHAVIOR TOWARDS ITS

EXPOSURE AMONG HOUSEHOLDS

RESEARCH POPULATION

In this qualitative research, the data gathered came from [YEAR] students of

[SCHOOL] for the academic year 2022 – 2023. In this population, [NUMBER OF

RESPONDENTS] individuals who are living in a household or residence with smokers

were the respondents of the study.

The researchers used a non-probability sampling technique, specifically snowball

sampling. This technique was used to access populations that are hard find or access

due to discrimination or other forms of invalidation from the larger society (Woodley,

2016).

LOCALE OF THE STUDY

The present study was conducted at the [SCHOOL] at the 2022 – 2033 academic

year. The researchers chose the vicinity close to [SCHOOL], located by the [LOCATION

OR ADDRESS], as the research locale due to the fact that it was more convenient and

easier to conduct the data analysis, specifically because the respondents, researchers,

and advisors who approved the questionnaire are located within the vicinity, which

made the locale appropriate.

The researchers administered survey questionnaire to the [STRAND] students.

The researchers chose the students of [STRAND] as the respondents of the study in
order to assess the knowledge extent of individuals regarding secondhand smoking and

its effects towards their behavior in their family households.
