Processing__________________________________________________________________
A. Based on what you observed in class. Explain the importance of different kinds
of knowledge.

1. Content Knowledge
 If you're teaching primary students, content knowledge is critical because
it allows them to comprehend the sounds of words, and learning about a
range of topic areas helps them make sense of what they're reading.

2. Pedagogical Knowledge
 If content knowledge refers to "what is taught," pedagogical knowledge
refers to "how it is taught." From the perspective of educational
improvement, the key goal is that increases in teacher pedagogical topic
understanding will lead to improvements in student learning.

3. Curricular Knowledge
 In order to analyze the big picture of students' learning outcomes,
curricular knowledge can bring together teachers from a variety of grade
levels and topic areas. Working collaboratively, a group of teachers can
create a series of subjects that build on one another and connect to other
disciplines.

B. What do you think are the strategies used by the teacher to enrich his/her master
subject matter?
 In order to provide high-quality instruction, teachers must first understand
the subjects they teach. They must also be familiar with the organization
and progression of ideas, establish factual knowledge that is crucial to each
subject, and help their pupils navigate the numerous ways to acquire that
knowledge. According to my observations of the teacher, she has a
positive outlook on the subject matter she teaches for the following
reasons: Her ability to teach the subject will get better as a result of this
experience. Student accomplishment is much higher for teachers who are
more competent than for teachers who are less competent.

C. What do you think are the strategies used by teacher to enrich his/her
pedagogical knowledge?
 Engage the pupils in a discussion about the topic and in my opinion, take
the time to locate someone with whom she can discuss her ideas and build
a relationship of trust. Talk about how to cope with different student types
or how to teach challenging ideas. Take part in a district- or school-wide
initiative to promote peer coaching.

D. What do you think are the strategies used by the teacher to augment his/her
curricular knowledge?
 In Curriculum development for teachers developing curriculum is a
challenging task. Even though, being prepared and knowing what to
anticipate can be very helpful. According to my observations, Teacher
Anna puts the students' needs at the center of her lesson planning and
discussion topics, which helps her understand that the goal isn't to write
the best lesson plans or the ideal collection of in-class projects and
assignments. Instead, the focus should be on meeting students' needs in a
way that ensures that the material is understood, retained, and applied both
within and outside of the classroom.

Reflection__________________________________________________________________

Complete the following statements

1. I realized that:
 Being a teacher is challenging because you hold the future of your
pupils in your hands. Because the educational plan must meet your desired
goals for your pupils, creating one that is acceptable for all children will be
very challenging. Being a teacher is exhausting and challenging because
you have to come up with plans for how your pupils will acquire
knowledge, but it is also incredibly exciting. You help learners become
knowledgeable enough to grow because you help each learner accomplish
their personal goals.

2. I believed that:
On my observations in the first topic of the class that I attend suggest that
the teacher's job is to inspire, encourage, and motivate the pupils. You are
in charge of creating a lesson plan and instructing your classmates. As you
choose this career not only to educate but also to put your heart into
teaching so that you know your goals, you must help children learn from
you in ways that are engaging, motivating, and aspirational. Also, by
acting as the children's second set of parents, teachers serve as excellent
role models for them.
3. I feel that:
 While observing I was relieved to see that the pupils was still picking
things up. teacher Anna inspires her students to pay attention to her lessons
and pick up new information from her. And I am aware that teaching is not
a joke because it will enable kids to succeed. I watch her teach and note
the methods she uses to guide those students. And as I watch, I picture
myself soon instructing them and directing them toward long - term
achievement.

4. Being a professional teacher requires:

 You must make sure that your students succeed, learn from your topic, and
expand their expertise. To encourage your pupils to come to class and
learn from it, you must be sure that you will be giving them good
education. Becoming their second parents will encourage them to give you
the authority to improve their life, empowering them to grow in confidence
and realize their future objectives.

Read carefully and answer the following question based on what you have observed
in the class.

1. How can literacy affect one’s life?

 Because we use literacy in our daily lives, it has an effect on how one
lives. The capacity to engage knowledge is literacy. If you can read and
write, you'll be able to communicate clearly and comprehend problems
that occur all around the world. Without literacy, you are unable to
understand our society, lack the skills necessary for efficient
communication, and in certain situations may even be unable to
understand one another.

2. How important is numeracy in our daily life?

 Because it aids in the development of our reasoning and logical thinking
skills, which are crucial in daily life, numeracy is significant. It is
important because numeracy equips us with the problem-solving skills we
need and enables us to understand the numerical data we come across on a
daily basis. Numbers are used in everything you do, including cooking,
where they are needed to know the amounts of each item, and budgeting,
where they are needed to figure up your daily spending.

3. How can literacy and numeracy improve the learner’s academic performance?
 Knowing what each pupil is capable of accomplishing and establishing
goals that are realistic for each pupil might help other pupils to perform
better academically. This is due to the fact that each pupils have a unique
set of skills and knowledge that makes them distinct when it comes to their
academic performance, which can be enhanced by being aware of what
they are capable of. To get the results you want for the pupils, you need
have a well-defined target and set of goals. Make smart plans to assist

Processing__________________________________________________________________

Read carefully and answer the following question based on what you have observed
in the class.

1. In what part of the instructional plan can teacher apply HOTS?

 As a teacher, the development of the pupil's knowledge is essential. And
while you are talking about a subject, encourage students to ask questions
to express their thoughts, relate concepts to real-world situations so they
can relate it, and keep using HOTS because it helps us a teacher assess
your pupils and create a successful plan for all students to improve their
skills regardless of their level of ability. Moreover, HOTS improves your
teaching abilities since you will know what the pupil needs.

2. How can higher order thinking skills improve the students learning?
 The teacher must relate to them, comprehend each pupil, and draw
conclusions from them. For example, encourage students to draw
conclusions about an object after displaying them a picture or an actual
example to help them relate thoughts to the real world. To help the pupils
gain confidence, encourage them to ask questions. As a teacher, you
should also try to avoid showing anger. Encourage pupils to think
creatively by giving them an issue to solve in order to develop their critical
thinking abilities. And to assist them learn, when you provide a question to
your pupils, urge them to expound on their responses in order to clearly
communicate their views.

3. How important is creative and critical thinking in the 21st century workplace?
 In the twenty-first century, it is important to be innovative and critical
thinkers in the workplace, particularly in a culture where technology is
pervasive. You should exercise more creativity as a teacher to make your
instructional techniques as successful as possible for your pupils so that
they can create their own special talents. In order to know what to do,
critical thinking skills are also important in the job. Being a teacher is a
lifetime learning experience, so you'll have everyday opportunities to hone
your creative and analytical abilities.

4. What are the things that teacher needs to improve on in order to enrich the
strategies using HOTS?
 When teachers interact with their students in meaningful ways, encourage
them to engage in hands-on learning activities, relate their lessons to real-
world scenarios, or use visualizations to explain ideas, students' HOTS are
improved.

Reflection__________________________________________________________________

Complete the following statements

1. I realized that:
 Higher-order thinking skills might help pupils solve difficulties more
quickly by foreseeing connections between various concepts.

2. I believed that:
 It's never too late for pupils with incredible skill to pick up new skills and
further their development. If the pupils meet curriculum-level objectives,
tasks can be made more difficult by emphasizing higher order thinking.
Students will be more inclined to look for other learning options as a
consequence.

3. I feel that:
 Higher-order questions put more of a pressure on pupils' sophisticated
cognitive skills. They inspire pupils to consider topics other than the
straightforward questions that are posed to them. Higher-order questions
aid in the development of critical thinking abilities because they force
students to do more than just recollect material; rather, they ask them to
apply, analyze, synthesize, and evaluate information.

4. Being a professional teacher requires:

 There are other issues that need to be addressed in order to comprehend
the difficulties related to teaching higher-order thinking (HOTs). The
efficiency of teachers in support high' critical thinking skills while also
ensuring that the pupils grasp the subject matter is a crucial factor to take
into account when talking about successful teaching and learning in the
twenty-first century. Creating and enhancing the pupils' HOTs has long
been a primary educational goal. The role of teachers in inculcating HOT
is another crucial component of successfully teaching HOTs in an
educational context when it comes to realizing a national desire in
education.

Complete the following statements

1. I realized that:
 Mother tongue, Filipino, and the English language are all valuable
resources for kids who have trouble understanding since some of them can
communicate in a language different than their mother tongue. The
understanding and performance of language learners are likely to increase
when they utilize their native tongue to study the target language. Learners
may describe what they know and are capable of doing by switching
between two languages, which helps lower cognitive thinking.
2. I believed that:
 Community members who speak different languages must participate in
formal education, and instructors must have specialized training to work
well in MTB-MLE classes. In order for practitioners, policymakers, and
donors to understand how the power of MTB-MLE can be leveraged to
accomplish Education for All, we need to grow better at conveying
research results as we learn more.
3. I feel that:
 Some pupils, especially those who are in private schools, utilize English as
a main language in teaching and learning, thus we must enhance how we
use mother tongue in these contexts.
4. Being a professional teacher requires:
 Especially if you are teaching in Grade 6, where the students' mother
tongue is typically used because it is simpler for them to learn when they
begin their education in their mother tongue, which is connected to their
life experiences and emotions and you must be proficient in the language
that the pupils are speaking in order to facilitate discussion and clarity on
your topic. Mother tongue plays a significant part in education, which
needs the development of thinking skills. There is a strong correlation
between cognition and language growth.

Read carefully and answer the following question based on what you have observed in the
class.

1. How important are the verbal and non-verbal forms of communication?

 According to my observations that I've seen in the classroom, teachers'
verbal and nonverbal cues are crucial in helping pupils succeed
academically. Teachers who understand the value of this communication
will be better equipped to meet the requirements of being educators and to
provide their pupils with engaging learning opportunities.

2. How do verbal and non-verbal forms of communication affect the

students learning?
 Based on my observations of Grade-six pupils, I believe that the
connection between teachers' verbal and nonverbal communication with
the class's students has the potential to increase language communication
and as a result, influence language learning. It is important to keep in mind
that in order to properly transmit the objective and purpose of the
communication, both verbal and nonverbal communication are essential
components of a conversation.

3. What forms of communication do the teacher and the students need to

improved?
 In my opinion, both the teacher and the pupils need to work on their
nonverbal communication abilities because if the instructor presents the
material nonverbally, the pupils won't completely understand it. This is
particularly true since in my observations take place virtually, and some
pupils may have slow intellect.

Reflection__________________________________________________________________

Complete the following statements

1. I realized that:
 For the benefit of both students and teachers, using both verbal and
nonverbal ways of education is highly useful.

2. I believed that:
 It is important to stress the value of verbal and nonverbal communication
abilities in all teachers since the teacher verbally delivered the contents to
the pupils. As a result of their interactions, pupils will learn about
themselves, form their own self-concepts, and choose how they relate to
the rest of the world.

3. I feel that:
 Verbal communication is the process of exchanging information with
others by using words, according to my observations of the class I
attended. On the other hand, a lot of individuals think the phrase
exclusively applies to oral communication. The verbal component of
communication focuses on the words you use and how the recipient hears
and understands them.

4. Being a professional teacher requires:

 Having the students' academic and professional success in the classroom
depends on their ability to effectively communicate with others. In the
classroom the teacher gives the students more verbal instructions. It may
be dangerous for students who fail to learn and make academic progress
due of a teacher's poor communication abilities.
