TASK NO.

2
The continuum hypothesis is one of the open problems in mathematics. For this task, cite at least
two (2) real-life situations where you have encountered an open problem (or where you think the
problem is unsolvable). Express your answer in 100-300 words. You may use another sheet of
paper if necessary.

Answer:

There are a lot of problem going on in our world and some of them can be solve and
some are not or some can be lessen. I think the two (2) problems in our country that can’t be
solve or unsolvable is first the traffic in the city and second is the poverty. Traffic is caused by
undisciplined transport drivers who stop to pick up passengers in the middle of the road. There
are poor roads that have to be repaired and lines of water that have to be rebuilt. This occurs
repeatedly, so a bottleneck impacts the highways. Rush hours are contributing to the crisis. There
are occasions when traffic is so strong, for minutes, when the vehicles are absolutely still. The
government already made several solution for this but it is not efficient or effective. The second
is the poverty, this is the mainly problem in our country and the government made some
organizations to help indigent people, but as the result it is not enough because the money of our
country is not enough. Also, every month there is new born baby in our country and majority of
the families are from indigent. We can’t stop the couple to make a family and so with the poverty
in our country. In conclusion, the solution that our government did is not enough and also the
money. I think it will take years for us to see, know and realize what the solution for our problem
is.
