Task for
Today
Do you like puzzles and riddles? Today, you are going
to practice listening and speaking with the help of Ted-
Ed riddles.

Before you start the activity, let's have a quick review of


what discourse markers are. If you have any trouble
remembering what some of them mean, check in this
dictionary:

are words and phrases that are used by a speaker to give an idea about a reason, purpose,
sequence, cause and effect, etc.

Speaking Task
Record a video in which you try to solve the riddle. The video should last 2.5 minutes.
