not? Yes, having this set of rules in a classroom maintains peace and order.

2. Which of those routines were systematic and consistently implemented? Explain your
answer. The routine of prioritizing student needs before that of the teacher makes it
student-centered.

Reflect on the various routines observed.
1. Which of the routines will you most likely apply in your class? Why? Why not?
 It will be focused on the implementation of activities valuable for learning not
only on academic matters but on tasks that contribute to the learners’ holistic
development in general.
Activity 6.2 Listing Down Classroom Rules
OBSERVE
Observe a class and list down the classroom rules formulated by the Resource Teacher. Cite the
importance of these rules.

ANALYZE
1. Analyze each given rule. What circumstances led to the formulation of the rule?
The rules primarily apply to class groupings. Most of the time, students are grouped
into activities. In order to manage cooperation and participation among members,
these rules are to be met and applied.

2. Are classroom rules really important? Yes, an effective classroom rule makes up
effective and successful classroom management.

REFLECT
Reflect on the various classroom rules set by the Resource Teacher. Will you have the
same rules? If not, what rules are you going to employ? Explain your answer.
 The effective rules set by the teacher are worth emulating and I am convinced to
do the same if I am to become one. There are many things I have planned to
adopt but I do also have some to unlearn and modify instead, for effective
classroom management.
