Teacher Personal OBSERVE Procedure:
Qualities: A View 1. Secure a permit to observe a teacher.
from My Lenses 2. Review the list of Personal Qualities
given above.
3. Follow the code given whether you will observe by seeing only or you will
observe and interview the teacher to gather information.
4. Write down in the column of data results in the description of the personal
qualities that you have found out. If the personal quality is not observed by
you or is not revealed in your interview, write not observed or not
manifested.

 Identify one personal characteristic of your model teacher that has made a great impact
on your life as a learner. Reflect and describe how this quality influenced you.
There are many traits of a great teacher that I have experienced and observed firsthand.
One of the things that stood out to me all these years is having a compassionate heart toward the
learners. Not everyone has this character, which for me is the secret of successful teaching-
learning management. Having a compassionate heart requires tons of discipline and effort but
when achieved, it will put you, as the teacher into countless advantages so as to the learners. In
other words, it is a give-and-take process. The bonus is much greater and more satisfying as it
will bring the biggest impact on the lives of the students under your care, as their educator, for a
lifetime.

My Teacher, My Hero

My Resource Teacher is someone who is worthy of

appraisal and worth emulating. In my short period of time with
her, I have been blessed as I have witnessed how she acts not only
as a professional teacher in the school but on how she brings her
mother figure wherever she goes. Personally, she calls me “anak”
(daughter) which sounds so intimate and sweet to me. I’ve seen
humility in her, and it is one of the many things I appreciate most
about her. I am so honored to be her field study student whom she
respects and shares her wisdom with, in the teaching field.
I will never forget how she strategizes to manage her class
in a chaotic scenario, as well as her early arrival at the classroom
door at least a minute before the bell rings. I have learned a lot
from her and I have listed them on my notepad, which I know very
well will be beneficial to me, as someone who is aspiring to walk on
the steps, she took several years ago until this very moment.
