V and VI is Jaipur.

Weather in Jaipur during February is maximum and minimum temperatures


ranging from 12°C to 24°C.
Dotted with magnificent palaces, glorious forts and enchanting gardens. Founded by the ruler
of Amber, Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh in 1727, Jaipur was painted in pink in 1876 to welcome
Prince Albert and Queen Elizabeth II. Since then, this magnificent city has been wearing this
colour, and embracing its visitor with extreme love, kindness and care and offers some of the
best tourist destinations in India as well as in the world.

BIRLA TEMPLE CHOKHI DHANI


BIRLA TEMPLE
Birla Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi is yet another major attraction in
the Pink city of Jaipur. The Birla Temple is said to be a replica of a Scottish castle. The temple
is situated at the foot of Moti Dungri Fort and is built by the famous and affluent business
family of Birlas.

CHOKHI DHANI

Chokhi Dhani, the only five-star rated ethnic village resort in India, is one of the best places to
visit in Jaipur.  Located on the neighbourhood of Jaipur, Chokhi Dhani is the replica of
a traditional Rajasthani village.

AMBER FORT
The Amer Fort, situated in Amber, 11 kilometers from Jaipur, is one of the most famous forts of
Rajasthan. Amer, originally, was the capital of the state before Jaipur. It is an old fort, built in
1592 by Raja Man Singh. This fort is also very popularly known as the Amer Palace. The Amer
Fort was built in red sandstone and marble and the Maotha Lake adds a certain charm to the
entire Fort. 

JAIGARH FORT

This fort is situated on the rugged promontory of the Aravalli Hills, called the Cheel ka Teela
or the Hill of Eagles. Built in the year 1726 by Jai Singh II, Jaigarh Fort is also known as the
Fort of Victory. The thick walls of this fort are of red sandstone, run about 3 km, and are
dominated by watchtowers. The granaries, water reserves and storage systems in this fort are
the finest examples of ancient science and technology. The massive Jaigarh Fort was built in
1726 and holds great appeal for military lovers. Flanked by towering gateways and
watchtowers, it contains the world's largest cannon on wheels. 

CITY PALACE

Situated in the heart of the old City, it occupies about one seventh of the old city area. The
palace is a blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture, it houses a Seven storeyed Chandra
Mahal in the centre, which affords a fine view of the gardens and the city. Diwan-E-Am (Hall of
public audience) has intricate decorations and collection of manuscripts, Diwan-E-Khas (Hall of
private audience) has a marble pawed gallery Mubarak Mahal has a rich collection of
costumes and textiles.

HAWA MAHAl CITY PALACE

"HAWA MAHAL" PALACE OF THE WINDS

The intricate and fascinating facade of the Palace of the Winds is probably Jaipur's most
recognized building. Constructed in 1799, it has five floors that contain rows of small
windows and screens. Wind used to flow through the openings, giving the palace its name. 

JANTAR MANTAR OBSERVATORY JAIPUR ZOO

JANTAR MANTAR OBSERVATORY

Jantar Mantar, built by King Jai Singh II between 1727 and 1734, literally means "calculation
instrument". More than just a curious collection of sculptures, each structure at the intriguing
Jantar Mantar observatory has a specialized astronomical function. 

JAIPUR ZOO
Among several attractions, one of the trinkets of Jaipur is the Jaipur Zoo, which is otherwise
known as the zoological Garden. Among the diverse parks in Jaipur, Zoological Garden is
considered as the most excellent sanctuaries in Jaipur.

ALBERT HALL MUSEUM RAJ MANDIR CINEMA

Albert Hall Museum


This museum is also home to one of the six ‘Egyptian Mummies’ in India. n the
beginning stage, Albert Hall Museum displayed the products of local artists and
craftsmen. With passing centuries, collections in this museum have increased to
a great extent and have brought this museum to international level.

RAJ MANDIR CINEMA


Raj Mandir a meringue shaped cinema complex, located on Bhagwan Das Road,
Jaipur, it is one of the best places in the entire city to enjoy all the Bollywood
masala flicks.

What do Students have to carry along with them :-


Please give them luggage that they are able to carry on their own.

Kindly note:
1. Students to wear on 16th Feb’16: Jeans and media T-shirt along with
sports shoes.
[ Please check that the sport shoes are in good condition ]

2. Identity card is compulsory

3. If your child is going to be picked up by someone other than the parents


on 20st Feb’16 from school, kindly send the name and address of the
person to the class teacher before 14th Feb’16.

4. All the students will need to report to the school itself on 16 th Feb’16 and
will have to be picked up from the school on 20 st Feb’16.

  Note: - Jain food will be available in all meals.

Please note-
1) If students are found having mobiles or cameras it will be
confiscated and parents have to meet Principal regarding the matter.

2) Confiscated items will not be returned.

3) Strict action will be taken.

When you come to leave your ward on 16th Feb 2016 or pick your ward on
20st Feb 2016, please see that you don’t park your vehicles near the school
premises.

As it is a part of co-curricular activity, it is mandatory for all the students.
Grades/ Credits will also be given for the student’s participation.
