‘To whom it may be concern, Feb 1,2019 ‘The 20 anniversary of the Players College Showcase soccer tournament in Las Vegas is held over two weekends on March 8-10, 2019 for boys teams and on March 15-17, 2019 for girls teams, The tournament is considered as one of the major recruiting events for student-athletes in the nation with over 1000 college coaches and scouts attending annually over the two weekends. ‘Teams are invited to this event based on their results and level of play. Tournament play starts on Friday with first games kicking off at 8:00 am. This date coincides with Spring break at some states, but it is a school day with some others. The list of some of the colleges attending the event as well as the game schedules are posted on our web site at www. playersshowcase.com. We are submitting this request to excuse the student-athletes participating on boys event from the school on Friday March 8, 2019. The student-athletes on the girls teams are requested to be excused on Friday March 15, 2019 to attend this important event. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any additional questions.
