SAMPLE
About the sports clubs that my friend likes, he is not sure whether he should find
out more about each club before he makes his final decision, or try both clubs at
the same time for one month to see which one is more suitable. He might even
take part in the club that many of his friends have joined. If I were him, I would
join both the swimming and the soccer club for one month. There are two
reasons for this. First of all, trying both activities at the same time will help me
know well about what each club is exactly like, and where my sporting talent
really lies, swimming or playing soccer. Furthermore, I don’t want to do
something only to give up on it halfway through, which is a waste of time, effort
and money.
Trying to find out necessary information about each club may sound OK, but still
you don’t really know if it really suits you until you do it yourself. Also, I’m not
sure who I should turn to for reliable information. The last option is not good
either. It’s because I may not be interested in what my friends like. I join the
sports club to play sports, not to hang around and have a chat.
