The specification provides clear instructions on project intent, performance and
construction. It can reference the quality and standards which should be applied. Materials
and manufacturers' products can be clearly defined. Installation, testing ,handover
requirements can be identified and the design can be changed depending on problems or
issues that may arise

4. Give two reasons why it is important for designers to source more ecological
ways to manufacture products.
