• Help manage and teach about New Jersey’s woodlands such as the Pinelands National
Reserve
• Conduct management for the woodlands, pinelands, and fields of NJ through methods
of prescribed burning and thinning techniques.
• Understanding weather patterns to determine how the fire will react during prescribed
burning.
• Respond to various forest fire calls throughout New Jersey

• Use of tree height delineation, stand approximations, and thinning methods are

Final project Spring 2020
• Developed a forestry management plan.
• Final project included making up a forestry consulting firm to assess a 32-acre part of
the woodlands within Stockton University
• Data was collected from transect lines to identify tree species at every 50ft interval, tree
dominance such as overtopped or dominant, tree width, snag count, and a 10 BA factor
was also used

• An in-depth website creation was conducted for The Garden State Cleaners CO. and The
South Jersey Clothing CO. Superfund Sites
• CERCLA’s steps were followed to promptly assess what has been conducted to mitigate
the contamination of the site
• Many documents, pollutants, site contacts, and implementations were investigated to
understand how CERCLA was used within the site
• CERCLA itself was also deeply overviewed within its own tab on the website to
understand its importance
