A challenge was presented where students had to plan the secret transportation of 1000 cannisters of explosive gas from Jamshedpur to Srinagar within 92 days for a covert operation. Deliverables included a transportation plan using charts/graphs, a risk register, and resource/expense plan.     Background

    OpSigma, the Operations and Supply Chain Club of IIFT Delhi, exemplifies the need
    of today’s world to migrate towards lean management and tries to highlight the
    ever-increasing trends of sustainability in today’s Supply Chain.

    Problem Statement Skills

    You are Mr.X, the head of a secret service society. Your Presentation skills
    next project is to bomb a terrorist camp in Srinagar. Understanding of
    You are planning to use an explosive gas called complex Supply
    Azidoazide. The project is to be carried out within 92 Chains
    days and the gas should arrive 4 days before the date
    to storage location. The current stock of azidoazide is
    stored at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. The total shipment
    includes 1000 cannisters of 20L each. Each cannister Rewards
    require an insulated outer box of 1. (1*1*0.02)

    Cost of unskilled labour= 500/ day performers in JCC

    about the transportation and the goods should not Deadline
    get recorded anywhere or identified by anyone.

    Deliverables

    Create a plan to deliver the goods within the stipulated timeline. [Use any
    graphical representation (charts, graphs, tables etc) or visualization tools]
    Prepare a risk register (mention the risks during the assignment and mitigation
    steps)
    Draft a resource allocation plan and expense sheet for the consignment.
