Objectives

• To gain an understanding and the purpose of Gantt chart

• To develop a Gantt chart for different situations

Exercises
• The lab instructor will explain the purpose of a Gantt chart and the tool to be used
• Students will switch on the computers and load the required tool
• The lab instructor will demonstrate the interface of the tool and different parts to
be used in the exercise
• The instructor describes a scenario of a manufacturing company where products
are developed and its complete cycle is shown

• The lab instructor will demonstrate the use of tools and students will observe
• Student will design the above Gantt chart
• The instructor may help students whenever needed
• Students save their work

Deliverables

• Students will save their work and hand over to the lab instructor
