Was a member of Tau Beta Sigma. Participated in volunteer opportunities to help

my University’s bands as well as bands and band events throughout the state,
including teaching in local afterschool program and visiting nursing homes. Traveled
to various sorority events to vote on issues and develop new programs.
Active in United Campus Ministry (UCM). Lead the children’s message for church
services and made care packages for students on campus. Participated in trunk-or-
treat events, bringing donations to the local homeless shelter, volunteer work to
help donation programs and churches around the state, and aided in hurricane
cleanup.
Attended NAEA (National Art Education Association) meetings at UNK. Through
NAEA, helped with a kid’s day at the local art gallery where volunteers led kids
through an art lesson. Volunteered as a docent in the UNK Art Gallery. Walked high
school students through a discussion of an artists’ work and introduced them to
printmaking.
