Lenovo as a fast growing company has a long history as Legend Holding. This Chinese
Company is innovative and doing its best to deliver a high quality for consumer. This company
has a vision of being the top leading PC company and with this goal they create machines that
will DO its best for the consumer whom they call as the DOER, the doer of change and
prosperity. The company practice ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and Lean Six Sigma as
their TQM practices. What is unique with them is the Lean Six Sigma which is the combination
of speed and accuracy. They practice TQM because of the company’s constancy of purpose for
improvement, to have a proper mind set of choosing supplier, good relationship with
stakeholders, happier employees, and for the excellence of leadership. They have a tight
competition with other leading PC company such as HP, Asus, Apple, etc. The goal of this
research paper is to learn TQM from Lenovo in a way of knowing if TQM is effective in an
organization.
