I. General Program Information


Title: BSP School Based Encampment

Participants: Registered Adult Advisor, and Senior Boy Scouts


Date: February 24-26, 2023
Management Level Program: School Level
Venue: Liloan NHS Ext. Don Bosco Campus

II. Rationale

Joining the boy scout camping is a great opportunity and privilege, scouting activities help the youth
to develop academic skills, build self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills. It
aims to inculcate the love of God, country and fellowmen.

III. Objectives

With the Boy Scouts Camping activity at Liloan National High School Ext. Don Bosco aims to:

1. Prepare the young people to make ethical and moral choices by instilling in them the values
of the Scout Oath and Law
2. Promote practical skills of the girl scouts that will lead them to profitable sources of
livelihood;
3. Enhance the leadership skills as they navigate through life; and
4. Strengthen environmental awareness and promote their love for the environment.

X. Expected Outcome

The senior boy scouts who engaged in the school-based encampment are expected to learn
practical lessons from the different activities administered. They are also expected to develop their
skills such as practical skills and leadership skills which they can use in their life as a good students
and loyal citizens of the country. Moreover, they are expected to develop a love for the
environment that will encourage them to be more responsible and caring for the well-being of our
Mother Earth and to love God above all.

XI. Monitoring, Feedback and Reporting Mechanism

Proponent of the said activity should prepare a narrative report with documentation of the activity
as well as the liquidation of the expenses after the said activity.
