Objectives
• To
conduct
a
5
weeks
intensive
solar
PV
training
for
campaigner,
mobiliser,
solar
business
promoters
etc.,
organized
and
executed
at
Sarah
Obama
solar
learning.
• Train
on
“solar
health
solutions”,
i.e.
solar
chill
for
vaccines
and
lighting
up
health
centers
and
train
hospital
staff
in
maintenance
and
service,
and
solar
drinking
water
• To
introduce
trainees
basic
business
course
i.e.
Bookkeeping,
Marketing,
Advertisement
etc
• Optionally
train
on
solar
water
pump
for
irrigation
• The
course
is
tailored
for
entry-‐level
training
and
participants
with
little
knowledge
and
would
like
to
advance
their
skills
on
PV
installation,
namely
off-‐grid
and
business
courses
will
be
offered,
and
optional
a
1-‐week
wood
efficient
stove
building
course.
Expected
Results
• Participants
achieve
basic
knowledge,
comprehension
and
application
of
key
terms
and
concepts
of
photovoltaic
systems
operations.
• Capable
of
installing
simple
solar
PV
systems
and
tackling
trouble
shootings.
• Acquire
business
skills
for
social
entrepreneurship
that
can
help
them
start
their
own
mini
solar
enterprises.
