Project Description
: This study used quantitative research. The project is closed to 35% gap based on the
travel and tour NC II training regulations that was left by past researchers. Additionally,
this project focuses on establishing a contract with a travel and tour provider for the
FEPC students to use their GDS. Moreover, it plans to keep up the physical
improvement while emphasizing on lab aesthetics.

: A GDS is a network system for booking reservations that links customers with
providers including hotels, other lodging options, and enterprises involved in the travel
industry.

:Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, World span, and Apollo are a few examples of GDS
systems.

: First is the Amadeus, Amadeus is the GDS with the largest worldwide network and has
been in operation for more than 30 years. now serves as the industry's top transaction
processor global travel industry that provides advanced technology solutions to travel
agencies.
:NEXT is the Galileo the Owner of this GDS is Travelport Worldwide Ltd. It is used to
reserve hotels, cars, and railways in addition to flights. Membership in the International
Air Transport Association gives it a very wide geographic reach in the travel industry.
:The Next one is Sabre the Sabre Travel Network is a collection of GDS-integrated
solutions. It is the industry leader in corporate booking tools, web and mobile itinerary
tools, revenue management, and corporate booking tools. It offers vital services,
software options, and goods to the international travel sector.
Next is the World span World span is a Travelport platform. It is the leading company in
web-based travel technology and offers solutions and services to international travel
agencies.
: Lastly is the Apollo This makes it possible for travel agents to reserve hotel rooms,

the study.
SCOPE OF THE STUDY
:This research was conducted at Far Eastern polytechnic college and the
participants are BSHM students. It is stated in our scope that our study is
focusing on the physical enhancement of the hotel laboratory which part of
it is to furnish or upgrade the fixtures and interiors of the hotel laboratory. In
addition we will comply with the requirements of Travel Services NC II
Training Regulations to provide the needed materials, tools and equipment
using the gap analysis.
Significance of the study
:This research is of great significance in the field of BSHM because they
can use the laboratory comfortably. This study aims to give them a suitable
hotel laboratory so we can continue the conductive learning of students and
the laboratory might be able to complete the course requirements through
this research. Furthermore, we can allow the teaching and learning process
of students to become more interactive and fully engaged .
