Differently-abled, Widow, PVTG etc., are built.
Initiative of Participatory Learning & Action
(PLA) in Health One among the Best Practices of Jharkhand

Community mobilization using Participatory Learning & Action (PLA) cycle approach
to reduce maternal & neonatal mortality
This is a capacity building process in which
women’s group members invite non- group
members, adolescent girls, pregnant women,
mothers, men, frontline service providers for
learning, planning, carrying out and evaluating
activities in a participatory and sustained
basis. Trained facilitators(Sahiyas) enable this
community process.
