Service Order Creation – Depot Repair

1. Select appropriate responsibility (Ex. ‘EMR CSA Level1 MSS USA’).

2. Navigate to Service→Repair Orders

The Service order related to the Service Request number will populate
a. Enter the Service Request number
b. Click “Find” then in Results field Customer details will populate
c. Click “Ok”

3. The Service Order form opens with the Service Type defaulted to “EMR
Repair and Return_MSS”

4. In the “Item” field enter the item information and TAB out the Description will
populate in the “Item Description” field

5. Enter other details like,

a. Serial Number
b. Default PO number and Verify Default values: Currency- US Dollar, Default
Price List- “DMC SERVICES GLOBAL 10.2020”.
“Automatically Enter and Book RMA” is checked
c. Warranty Status
d. Service Description

6. On the “Details” Tab Click on the Flex Field at the bottom right of the screen to
open the Repair Orders DFF. The DFF should open, and the context value
should be ‘DMC_USA_OU’.

If the item to be repaired is a Flow Product Enter ALL the details in the DFF.

7. If the item to be repaired is NOT a Flow Product, enter only the “Customer
Request Date”

8. Click “OK” and then Save

9. Enter “Promised Date”

10. A message will come to confirm the creation of IB instance and click the “Add to
IB” button

11. Click on “Logistics” Tab

One Return line with the RMA order in Status “Booked” and a Shipping line
will be created.

a. Service Order number will get generated.

The warehouse and sub inventory should default as per the “Service Group”
on the Service Request Header.
