Sir,

I am directed to refer to your letter No. A-42012/1I2001-IIS dated 16thNovember,

2007 on the above mentioned subject and to state that the proposed changes in
designations of various posts as contained in Schedules-I, IV and V of Indian Infonnation
SetVice Group' A' Rules have been approved by the Commission. The modified
Schedule-I, Schedule-IV and Schedule-Vas approved by the Commission are fOlWarded
herewith which may please be substituted before the amended Rules are notified, as
already requested vide our Advice Letter of even number dated 22ndOctober, 2007.
