People in many countries are spending less time with their families. The main causes of this are adults being too busy with work and not making time for family, and young people facing lots of pressure from school assignments and exams. Reduced family time can negatively impact both parents and teenagers, potentially causing mental health issues for children and growing distances between family members. What are the
reasons, and effects of this? In current times, the issue of many family members neglecting their family has aroused people’s discussion. Numerous negative effects have aroused as a result of this. In my opinion, the foremost cause of this is adults have a tendency to be extremely busy with their work and may totally forget their family. I have no doubt that their schedules are full and a break don’t even exist. Meanwhile, young people are likely to be put under numerous pressure with assignments and examinations. For example, not only children in Asian spend 6 days in a week at school but they also have to go to extra curriculum to improve their intelligence. I would believe that reduced family time has a dramatic effect on not only parents but also teenagers. Firstly, this may cause to children’s mental health such as mood swings, depression, emotional damage, and violence and crime. For example, when parents spend most of their time working and there’s no time left for their family, they paid no attention to their kids since they can be affected by harmful influences from bad friends and media consumption. Secondly, family members who spend less time together can create gaps between children and families. As a result, it is possible to appear conflicts and create gaps between members in their family. In conclusion, it is clear that there are various reasons for people’s spending less time with their family and there are also many negative consequences of this.
