COURSE DESIGN PROGRAM


(NEED ANALYSIS)

PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION :
1. Lack of motivation to study English literature
2. The students low written comprehension
3. The students lack of motivation to write a text

Selected Problem
The students need to be mastery in writting comprehension and the teacher should provide
solutions to improve student's competencies. For example, the teacher can use written media
like letter text to improve student writting comprehension.

LEARNERS’ NECESSITIES
In this program, the learners need to develop:
1. Motivation in learning english literature
2. Writting comprehension
3. Motivation to write a text

1) Definition
A letter is a written message that can be handwritten or printed on paper. It is usually sent
to the recipient via mail or post in an envelope, although this is not a requirement as such.
Any such message that is transferred via post is a letter, a written conversation between
two parties.

 Personal letters are letters that are written to people we know such as friends, parents,
siblings, and cousins.

 Letters are not only written to inform but to strengthen the bond between two people
