2. REFLECTION QUESTION: Reflect on your experience of the religious activity you

participated in. Select an event or celebration which you think best embody your experience
and explain your answer.

Last Sunday’s experience was a reminder for all of us that Jesus loved us dearly and that he
was so willing to sacrifice His life for us to be saved and forgiven. And because tomorrow is
Good Friday, the day when He was crucified and died on the cross, questions are beginning to
enter my mind. I am asking myself if we really deserve The great love He is giving to us. Do
we really deserve Him as our Savior and Protector? These are just some of the questions that
have lingered in my mind since the Holy Week started. But then, when I heard the sermon of
Fr. Maniwang last April 10, 2022, I realized that we are only worthy of the love He is giving
us if we love Him back. And as Fr. Maniwang said, to love Him means we must promote
peace at all times. One way of loving Jesus is by making peace and loving other people. And I
think we can give peace and love to other people because peace and love are within us. Those
two things are in us because of Jesus. And with this being said, if I were to compare an event
or celebration to my Sunday experience, I would compare it to when we celebrated Christmas
last year. The Christmas I had last year was the most peaceful Christmas I ever had. I felt the
love of my family by just sitting comfortably in our home. Peace is within me because we
were just sitting on the balcony with my cousin, appreciating the night, the skies, and life.
