KEY FACTORS FOR SUCCESS

Who do you want to be in the future? Do you want to be a good and successful person
or do you want to be an failure and unhappy person? Think about it, I´m sure that most of you
or all of you want to succed, but how do we do this? There are two crucial requirements to
achieve this that are perseveriance and doing things the right way.

First, we must understand that perseveriance is the key success and let me prove it to
you. who in here knows Leonardo Da Vinci? And how many of you think that he was a genius?
Well, let me tell you that he was an illiterate, illegitimate, dyslexic, bipolar and had ADD, and
not only that, he had tons of failures in his life. He failed in Florence, in Milan, in Venice, in
Florence again in Rome and he finally triumph at the end of his life.

It’s the story of an unsuccessful guy. In 1481 in Milan Leonardo was hired to be a
musician and an event planner. So one day they tell Leonardo okay you’ll have this wedding for
300 people, so please do your best. He says “okay, I’m going to do the biggest cake ever” and
the people said that it would have to be very big and he says “you haven’t understand the cake
will be so big that the party will be inside it” …so he starts hiring the best bakers and engineers
and he starts working on his project. The wedding day came and Leonardo was the first one at
the place of the event, and he was surprised as he found that his cake was eaten by birds and
rats.

He was afraid of failing again, so he leaves the city. After some time, he went back to
Milan, as he wanted to prove that people who criticize him were wrong. He was giving a new
chance and while he was there people were doubting about him. People said: “O there’s that
guy that failed trying to feed 300 people. After a lot of hard work, he said “You say that I can´t
feed 300 people how is that possible if I can feed the son of God” as he presented his famous
painting of the last Supper of Jesus Crist.

The second key for success is to do right, this has to do with all decisions we take every
day, and we always have good and bad options to make from several times a day. For example,
what will happened to you if you cheat in a test? maybe right know not too much maybe you will
get caught and have a zero on your test but what will happened in the future if you get used to
do it. What if you get caught evading taxes you’ll get to prison or what is you get caught stealing
you’ll get to prison. And what will happened with your family who is going to maintain them who
is going to give food to them. And you may think: “oh that won’t happened to me” but it is like
alcohol if you get used to it since you are a kid, it will be extremely hard to leave it later.

Who do you want to be in the future? Keep that question in mind what do you want to
become when you grow old? We all want to become the pest part of ourself. Let´s become the
best part of ourselves let´s take the correct decisions, assume our responsibilities, and change
your life as a first step to collaborate to change the world.
