Hello! Thank you so much for watching over my classes while I am out.
You will have classes 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th.
My lunch is 4th Period, and my prep is 3rd.

CLASS 1 [Science]- Period 1

● Please support Ms. K in C-9 if needed. Student’s start Sex-Ed today in her room.

CLASS 2 [Math - Period 2]

● Students should be working on “Slope and rate of Change-Handout 1”, if they finish this, they
need to turn in IXL AA.1. A few students have finished this and turned it in, they should be
working on “Market math” located in my Google Classroom

CLASS 3 [Language Arts - Period 5]

● Please have students complete the vocab worksheet “Lord of the Flies Chapters 4-6”. If they
finish the worksheet, they can work on the Vocab crossword puzzle for Ch.4-6. Students
should not be using their vocab papers for the crossword, have them turn it in as an
exchange for the crossword.

CLASS 4 [Social Studies]- Period 6

● Please have students work on researching and note taking for their 8th grade presentations.
They should be researching different topics that they are going to turn into 5 paragraph
essays.
● Please tell students they need to fill out their “Source 2” information sheet that is in their
packets today.

CLASS 5 [Math - Period 7]

● Students should be working on IXL AA.1 and then the “Slope and Rate of Change Handout-1”
CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT & ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT:
This is so important to me. Please remind the students that they are working toward a “Sub Reward”.
Please write down any student’s name that gives you a hard time, is uncooperative, does not do what is
asked, etc…

SEATING:
Please follow the seating chart to ensure best behaviors from students.

CELL PHONES / DEVICES:

Students may NOT use their cell phones or personal devices such as tablets while in class. Please let me
know if you have any students doing this today.

COMPUTER USAGE:
Please monitor the students throughout class to make sure they are on task. There should not be any
playing of games or navigating to YouTube to watch videos.

RESTROOM VISITS:
There is a restroom pass available at my desk. Students are to turn in their restroom pass card to you
before they can use the restroom. Students are also required to use the sign-in/sign-out sheet that is on the
table by the door anytime they leave the classroom. This is to try to track the vandalism that has been
going on in the bathrooms.

FIRST AID:
I have a first aid kit with band-aids in my cabinet labeled “NO STUDENTS ALLOWED”, please get them a
band-aid from here, they do not need to go to the office for this.
